Do I need to provide documents when ordering number plates?

Yes — road-legal number plates require valid documentation by law. This includes:

  • Proof of identity

  • Proof of entitlement to the registration number (e.g. V5C)

Show plates do not require any documents.


What is the difference between road-legal plates and show plates?

  • Road-legal plates meet UK regulations and can be legally displayed on public roads.

  • Show plates are not road legal and are intended for off-road use only (car shows, exhibitions, private land, photography).

The correct option must be selected at checkout.


What happens if I don’t upload documents for a road-legal plate?

If valid documents are not provided, we will be unable to process the order.
You may be contacted to upload the required information, or the order may be cancelled.


Are your road-legal plates compliant with UK regulations?

Yes. Our road-legal plates are produced in line with current UK requirements, including:

  • Correct font and spacing

  • Approved materials

  • Supplier and standard markings where required


What plate styles do you offer?

We currently offer:

  • Standard printed plates

  • 3D gel plates

  • 4D acrylic plates

All styles are available in road-legal or show plate formats (where applicable).


Can I choose custom spacing or fonts?

Custom spacing and styling options are available for show plates only.
Road-legal plates must follow strict formatting rules and cannot be customised beyond what is permitted by law.


How long does it take to make my plates?

All plates are made to order.
Typical processing time is 1–3 working days, excluding delivery.

During busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer.


How long does delivery take?

Delivery times depend on the shipping option selected at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are shown before payment is completed.

Please note we are not responsible for delays caused by courier services.


Can I cancel or change my order?

Because number plates are custom-made, orders cannot be changed or cancelled once production has begun.
If you believe you’ve made a mistake, contact us immediately and we’ll do our best to help if production has not started.


Do you accept returns or refunds?

Due to the custom nature of our products:

  • Plates are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless faulty or incorrect due to our error.

Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photos provided.


Is my personal information and documentation safe?

Yes. All personal data and uploaded documents are:

  • Used only for order processing and legal compliance

  • Stored securely

  • Never shared unnecessarily

Can show plates be used on the road?

No. Show plates are not road legal and must not be displayed on public roads.
The customer is fully responsible for how show plates are used.
